Big Brothers Big Sisters Up for Two Be More Awards

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona has been selected as a finalist in both the Be More Knowledgeable and Nonprofit of the Year award categories for the second annual Be More Awards.
The Be More Knowledgeable award honors exceptional educational outreach. Big Brothers Big Sisters is being recognized for their work through the STARS Children of Incarcerated Parents program. The STARS program is the primary provider of mentoring services in Maricopa County focused specifically on helping children of prisoners break the cycle of incarceration.
The winners for each category will be announced at the Be More Awards luncheon and ceremony on Thursday, May 7 at the Camelback Inn.
