Tee Up For Kids 2023 was an amazing weekend full of golf, friends, and fun! This year’s event consisted of two golf tournaments, each with their own unique activities. On Friday, May 19th, 84 golfers joined BBBSAZ for a golf scramble at Talking Stick Golf Club. Our 2023 Scramble was presented by Stotz Equipment. The morning started off in full swing with breakfast drinks, breakfast sandwiches, and a shotgun start. Each golfer received a swag bag filled with items from our sponsors. Golfers had the opportunity to play exciting games on the course, including a drone drive and golf ball launcher from Gateway Golf. They also got to win prizes and swag from our amazing hole sponsors Strunk Insurance Group, Amendola, and Good Company Real Estate. At the end of the day, all of the players gathered for lunch and an awards ceremony. The top foursome of the day came from Academic Opportunity of Arizona!
On Saturday, May 20th, 132 golfers came out to TopGolf Scottsdale for a full morning of fun! Our TopGolf tournament, presented by Amazon, included breakfast, drinks, and golfing. 22 teams competed in two rounds of golf throughout the morning. All golfers received awesome swag bags from our sponsors. The day concluded with an awards ceremony where our top team, the Fountain Hills High School Golf Team, received a Platinum Membership to Topgolf!
This year’s Tee Up For Kids tournament brought fun for both serious and recreational golfers. Over two days, almost $100,000 was raised in support of BBBSAZ’s mentoring programs. Whether you donated, bid in the silent auction, joined us at TopGolf, or played in the scramble, we are so grateful to have your support! A huge thank you to all of our sponsors, supporters, golfers, and our committee, led by Co-Chairs Tracy Dick and Matt Manoogian, for making Tee Up for Kids such a big success!
