On May 14th, five BBBSAZ Littles were selected for an afternoon shopping spree! Nordstrom Rack in Queen Creek, AZ had a soft opening for their new location, and the Littles were invited for an exclusive experience. Each Little was gifted with a $400 gift card to shop that afternoon with either their Big or parent. Nordstrom Rack provided the Littles with Nordstrom Rack employees to answer questions and help them find their sizes in clothes and shoes. Throughout the afternoon, there were snacks, soda, and a DJ to celebrate this grand opening. There were local influencers throughout the afternoon that many of our Littles were excited to meet. Our Littles picked out various items, including cosmetics, shoes, clothes, and gifts for family members. It was so great to see our Littles get to pick out some new items and get this exclusive experience!
Nordstrom Rack has been a continued partner with Big Brothers Big Sisters over the last few years through a Sponsor-a-Moment card purchased in a Nordstrom Rack store.
