Highlights from Paul’s Car Wash Event

Paul’s Car Wash 2024 was bigger and better than ever! From October 21st through October 25th, over 250 volunteers came together to wash close to 700 cars! Hosted by Arizona’s Family Meteorologist Paul Horton, this beloved event took place at Desert Ridge Marketplace to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona. Supporters came from all over the valley to have their cars washed and join in on this week-long televised celebration of the Big Brothers Big Sisters community. This year, an impressive $223,245 was raised, all to support BBBSAZ’s mission to foster one-on-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.

Paul’s Car Wash 2024 featured a fantastic lineup of attractions, performers, and animal friends, including appearances by ASU’s Sparky, the Phoenix Suns Gorilla, and Scorch from the Phoenix Mercury. Attendees enjoyed performances by Ballet Folklorico dancers, a stunning chalk mural by Rather Be Chalking, massages from Elements Massage, and a performance by Tip Top Dancers. There was even a parade of animal guests, such as a flock of birds from Birds Out Loud, an owl from the Phoenix Zoo, adoptable dogs from the Arizona Humane Society, a sheep from the Canyon View FFA, snakes from the Phoenix Herpetological Society, and an adorable skunk from the Wildlife World Zoo. Plus, attendees had the chance to win fantastic giveaways, including dinner for 2 at the Phoenician Tavern, tickets to Christmas at the Princess from The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, and passes to the upcoming NASCAR series. A surprise donation from Phoenix Raceway Charities added to the event’s success. Be sure to check out all the photos from Paul’s Car Wash 2024!
